Standing out
in a sea of competitors
…while serving coffee.

Verifone needed a way to demonstrate how simple and elegant their new smart devices work in the middle of the largest FinTech conference in the country. The solution? Build a functioning coffee shop at the heart of the event where people can see the tech in action. Wanting people to spend as much time at the booth as possible, I made sure to include little crossword puzzles on the coasters and copies of Verifone’s payments news & culture magazine, Paybook (which I ran as editor in chief).

We further supported the event with puzzles & games on social media, as well as OOH advertising throughout Las Vegas. The theme of intelligence (smarts) ran through the entire event to continue to drive home the capacity of their smart POS systems.
