I am the co-founder and proprietor of the game company Pillbox Games. I've worked on every aspect of this business, from the branding to product creation to finances. Pillbox Games began as just two people in an apartment in Brooklyn. It has grown into a strong and profitable business. Our games are in major retail stores and hobby shops all over the world.
COMPANY MILESTONES.
2017: launched Kickstarter campaign for first game (Side Effects) — made over 600% of what we asked for.
2019: Side Effects is nominated for an indie game of the year award at SXSW.
2020: Side Effects is sold at Barnes & Noble. We launch second game (MUD) on Kickstarter and receive more than double what we asked for.
2021: Pillbox Games are sold worldwide in hobby and game shops.
2022: The Ampersandi, our bi-weekly online riddle game, is launched. We also had strong growth with record sales numbers!
2023: The Ampersandi goes daily! New puzzles everyday with continued user growth. Plus, Pillbox makes licensing deals for foreign translations.
2024: New Game: Hex Effects is launched on Kickstarter and makes over $74.5K.
